Red is the most popular colour choice and the colour widely associated with Valentine’s Day. Don’t get me wrong, I do like a little red now and then however, pink is definitely my preferred choice of colour when it comes to my wardrobe stylist picks this Valentines. Pink is a huge SS18 trend and featured heavily on the catwalk by designers such as Valentino, Missoni, Victoria Beckham and Christopher Kane. These designers showcased just how ultra feminine pink hues really are and how they work like an absolute wardrobe dream! From hot pink to powder pink to to pastel pink…. Pink comes in such a wide variety of hues so combine a few of the pink tones listed as believe you me, you will create a show-stopping outfit, perfect for your date night this Valentines day!
Wearing head-to-toe pink is my kinda outfit, especially after having Flo as she has A LOT of pink in her existing wardrobe and wears it most days! If you prefer to wear pink in a more subtle way, why not add a splash of pink to your outfit and invest in either a scarf, sunglasses, gloves or a statement bag. Accessories are a great way to change any outfit and help add that pop of the colour of your choice!
STYLIST TIP | Pink and red are a bold colour combination but they work oh so well together… Be bold, be brave this Valentines day, as girl you got this! Here are a few of my favourite new season pink wardrobe pieces that I’m currently lusting over:
The pieces selected can be mixed and matched to create the perfect pink hued outfit! Hopefully this has given you a little inspiration on how to embrace a little pink and add it to your wardrobe this Valentines Day.
